Spanish La Liga side Levante UD are interested in the services of striker Meddie Kagere who turns out for Tanzanian champions Simba SC.

Reports indicate that the Spanish club have been monitoring Kagere for a period of 10 months after he impressed during a friendly match between Simba and Sevilla last year in May.

For starters, Kagere is a Ugandan-born Rwandan striker who started his career in Entebbe before joining Mbale Heroes and later on switched to Rwanda.

Reports indicate that Levante have openly expressed their interest for the 33 year old striker tabling a short term contract subject to trials, terms which the player’s agent is hesitant about.

He joined Simba in 2018 after winning two Kenya Premier League league titles with Gor Mahia.
