MFK Karvina 0-1 FK Pribram

Edrisa Lubega scored the lone goal for his side Pribram FK as they edged MFK Karvina 1-0 in a Czech Republic Fortuna Liga match played on Sunday afternoon.

Lubega capitalized on a defensive lapse to score the winning goal in the 12th minute of the game.

Pribram jealously defended their slim lead in the second half despite being reduced to 10 men in the closing 20 minutes when Martin Novy was sent off.

Lubega’s goal was his second in Pribram’s colours after scoring last week in their 4-1 crushing defeat to Bohemians Praha.

The Uganda Cranes striker has now played in five games for the Pribram outfit since completing his one and half loan deal.

The much needed victory was Pribram’s fourth of the season in 29 games played and kept their survival hopes alive.

Pribram are second from bottom on the 18-team table with 20 points. They have five games to save their top-flight status and will next play against SK Dynamo Ceske Budejovice on 1st May.
