SC Villa temporarily moved up to second spot on the Uganda premier league table after picking a point off Onduparaka at Bombo Military grounds.
Villa remain unbeaten after two games but head coach Jackson Magera believes his side could have done better had they not played in a stadium that had no fans.
Onduparaka are serving a five match ban without fans for their home games at Bombo Military grounds.
“Our fans are a huge inspiration to us and despite playing away, they would have come in huge numbers to motivate us” .

Both sides missed a few opportunities but the match’s tempo was generally low and the SC Villa tactician puts it on the hard surface of Bombo.
” The match was not bad but unfortunately we did not get the desired points, we wasted a few set pieces and Onduparaka were compact. The playing surface was hard and it could not permit our movement”.
Magera also reserved some praise for his goalkeeper Martin Elungat who made some match winning saves including a one on one against Rashid Okocha.
“He is a good experienced goalkeeper and I am not surprised with his performances ”
Villa will next host Express FC at Wankulukuku on October 14th, whereas Onduparaka will will visit Gaddafi on October 12.
