SC Villa head coach Jackson Magera has affirmed to the media this morning that first choice goalkeeper and captain Meddie Kibirige is available for selection tomorrow when they face Soltilo Bright Stars at Kavumba.

Kibirige returns just in time after his deputy Martin Elungat failed to recover from the knock suffered during Villa’s victory over Busoga United last week. He has been away with the national beach soccer team.

Magera revealed midfielder Ivan Sserubiri who missed their game against Busoga United last week will also make his return to the first team.

“The atmosphere is good, the energy is great and everyone is in line for the game. Bright Stars are a tough opponent but we are prepared for them. We lost twice against them last season, this time around we have tried to correct our mistakes and ready to face them.”

“Ivan Sserubiri has returned to the team which is a boost for us ahead of the game tomorrow.”

SC Villa will however miss the services of custodian Martin Elungat and Rogers Kiwanuka who are suffering from respective injuries.

The 16 time Uganda Premier league champions have won three games, drawn and lost once in their opening five league games.

Bright Stars who beat Villa home and way last campaign have drawn all their five league games this term.
