Magogo explains why Uganda still needs Micho as Cranes coach

Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) President Hon. Moses Magogo says that it will unfair to judge the national head coach on results from a team that is in transition.

Following another disappointing Uganda Cranes CHAN campaign, many Ugandans called for the sacking of head coach Milutin Sredojević.

Magogo called for patience with the national team

“It will be unfair to judge the head coach based on results from a team that is in transition. Fellow Ugandans we need to be patient with our team.” Magogo said while on FUFA FM program

On appointing a Ugandan coach for the Uganda Cranes top job

“Many are saying that we need to try a Ugandan coach for Uganda Cranes top job but the National Team is not a ground for making tests and experiments.” Said Magogo.

Uganda will now turn focus to the AFCON Qualifiers double header against neighbors Tanzania in March before facing Algeria and Niger.
