Big league side Kigezi Homeboyz have parted ways with head coach Mark Twinamatsiko on mutual consent.
The tactician who only joined the club at the beginning of the current season has failed to steer the club in the right path with results in the league failing to come his way.
Twinamatsiko has however managed to lead the club to a the round of 16 in the Uganda cup after ejecting former team Kitara FC.

A statement signed by the Club CEO indicated that the two parties decided to part ways on mutual consent and that they recognise his contribution towards the growth of the club.
” The management of Kigezi HomeBoyz Football Club (KHB FC) and the club Mr. Mark Twinamatsiko have today Thursday, May 06, 2021, agreed by mutual consent to end his employment with the club with immediate effect.”
“The club recognizes his contribution towards the growth and development of KHB FC and wishes him well in his future endeavors.”

Academy coach Denis Tushabe has been appointed to coach the team on interim basis.
About Twinamatsiko
He has guided Saints FC and Kitara FC to the top flight league despite his gender age. He has also managed at Kirinya Jinja S. S (former Busoga United) and Masindi based Doves FC.
By the time if his exit, Kigezi Homeboyz were courting relegation with a few games left on the schedule.
The Rwenzori group is led by Tooro United with 15 points in comparison to Kigezi’ meager 6 points from 7 games.
