Maroons FC have unveiled a new technical team of four men at The Maroons headquarters in Kampala which will be led by Charles Ayiekoh.

Ayiekoh was unveiled as the new head coach replacing Douglas Bamweyana who was shown exit last week.

He will be assisted by Eric Ndifuna while former Cranes left back Abubaker Tabula has been named as the fitness coach.

Former Vipers SC, KCCA and Onduparaka goalkeeping coach Moses Oloya has been entrusted with the same role.

The new technical team’s task will be saving the Prison Warders from relegation as the season heads to the final bend.

Ayiekoh believes the unveiled team is the right one for the daunting task.

“We have joined the club at a very hard time but I believe good coaches do not need to go to teams which are performing well”

“It is because of my experience that I have been trusted with this job and I believe we shall save Maroons from this situation.”

Maroons FC are currently 14th on the log of 16 teams with 24 points from 25 games.

Their immediate task will be facing off with fellow UPL side Kyetume FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup at the round of 16 on Friday March 13th at The Mighty Arena Jinja.
