Maroons FC have been handed a huge boost following their return of their captain David Ndihabwe.

Ndihabwe has been out of action due to a long-term injury. He has been out for eight months.

“It feels so good to be back again. I now have had a full preseason under my belt, and I’m ready to go.”

“It was great to be out there again. It was my first competitive game for the club in over 8 months. I have immensely missed the games.”

Ndihabwe told the club website before adding,

“We are really focused on improving ourselves and taking each game piecemeal, and we are confident in ourselves and the coaching staff to get the work done.” Said Ndihabwe

Maroons who started their league campaign with a comfortable 3-0 win away to Wakiso Giants will next host SC Villa on Sunday.

SC Villa suffered a 2-1 defeat to Kitara FC in their opening game last week.
