Maroons sign utility player Sula Mpanga from Vipers SC

Newly promoted Uganda premier league side Maroons FC have agreed terms with the representatives of youngster Sula Mpanga to become their latest signing.

The Prison Warders who have been one of the busiest sides in the current primary transfer window have tied Mpanga down on a two year renewable contract.

Mpanga has joined Maroons as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with defending champions Vipers SC.

He played last season on the books of Gaddafi FC after he was loaned out by Vipers SC.

The fast paced player can who ably play as a winger on either sides broke out through the ranks at Vipers via the Junior team and St. Mary’s Kitende school team whom he helped win their previous national championships.

Mpanga has also had competitive auditions with Ssingo FC in the Masaza ga Buganda annual tournament.

He is one of the brightest shining stars of this year’s edition of the Bika Byabaganda Football tournament where he represents overwhelming star studded favorites Ffumbe.

Mpanga joins other fresh signings like Umar Kyebatala, Lawrence Tezikya, Jacob Okao, Isaac Mpagi, David Ndihabwe, Brian Nkuubi, Samson Kigozi, Arafat Kakonge and Noel Nasasira.
