Masavu FC will look to continue with their impressive form as they aspire to save their season as they visit BUL FC at Kakindu.

The Bugonga based side have not lost a game in the second round of the Uganda premier league and they will be expecting to make a double against BUL FC whom they edged 1-0 in the first round courtesy of Dumba Sadala’s goal.

BUL FC come into this fixture on the aftermath of back to back away defeats at the hands of Ondupakara (1-0) and Express (2-0) while Masavu FC held title contenders KCCA to a barren draw last Wednesday.

BUL FC has won the all last 3 league games they have hosted at Kakindu and have won 5 of the overall 9 games they have played at home. Masavu has won 2 of the 8 games they have played away from home. Losing twice and drawing thrice.

Masavu FC: DDDLW

The hosts have Yunus Sibira, Musa Walangalira and Mike Ndera all ruled out of the encounter because of injury concerns but will look up to Hamis Tibita and Hannington Ssebwalunyo to earn any positive result.

Masavu FC will bank on Abraham Ndugwa, Arthur Ssemazzi and Benjamin Nyakojo for inspiration but goalkeeper Salim Wekiya may miss out to face his former pay masters after sustaining a shoulder injury in the dying minutes of the goalless draw against KCCA. Mid season signing Michael Otimong is welcomed after spending time sidelined by injury.

Kefa Kisala the BUL FC tactician is adamant his side will bounce back to the winning. He says,

” We are hosting a team that has greatly improved and gained momentum lately but we have done our homework very well especially after our poor performance in the previous games. Our fans should expect a positive result at the end of the day.”

A win for BUL FC will see them move two or three positions above from 11th whereas Masavu aspire to move away from the relegation zone.
