Mazengo confirms his KCCA departure

Midfielder Stefano Mazengo Loro has confirmed his departure from Uganda Premier league side KCCA FC.

The Italian whose two year employment contract at the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions expired confirmed his departure on his social media platforms.

“It is with a heavy heart that I officially communicate the end of my relationship with KCCA FC for now at least. I would like to thank my fellow players, coaches, management, staff and fans for the great experience and wish them the best for the new season.” Posted Mazengo on his official Facebook page

Mazengo joined KCCA in 2020 on a two-year contract (with option to extend).

He was born to Italian parents in Kenya and has lived both in Uganda and Tanzania.

He started his career under the Kampala Kids League program before featuring in Netherlands, Spain and United Kingdom.

Mazengo joins Gift Ali Abubakar, Kigozi Samson Andrew, Kasirye Davis, Wafula Innocent Esimu, Erisa Ssekisambu, Kaddu Patrick, Bukenya Joseph and Yassar Mugerwa who also left the club.
