Mbalangu replaces Onen at Blacks Power

UPL newbies have appointed Hussein mbalangu as their new head coach days after the departure of Peter Onen.

Onen left the Lira after handling two games which Blacks Power lost 5-0 and 2-0 to BUL FC respectively.

Mbalangu will work alongside former Kitara FC head coach Anthony Ssekitto and their task is seeing Blacks Power maintain their stay in the Uganda Premier League.

He has previously worked with Mogadishu City FC, Banadir FC, SC Villa and Mbarara City FC.

Notably Mbalangu is remembered for guiding Arua Hill SC to the top flight unbeaten unheaten in the 2020/21 season emerging champions of the FUFA Big League.

Blacks Power is bottom placed with only one point from their previous three games they have conceded eight goals and scored only one.

They next play Wakiso Giants on Friday 21st October at Kabaka Kyabaggu grounds.
