Mbarara City FC have officially made defender Ramathan Kareem their fourth signing in the ongoing transfer window.
Kareem has joined the Ankole Lions from relegated FUFA Big League side New Villa FC.
The lanky center back has signed a four year contract and is expected to add competition in the club’s defensive department.
Kareem, who has in past had a stint in DR Congo, features for Rwenzori Province in the FUFA Drum tournament.
He joins new signings Ronald Edwork and Godfrey Kalungi who were acquired for Light SS on three year contracts each.
Mbarara City have so far renewed contracts of six players that is Muhammad Ssekeba, Stephen Othieno, Pistis Balenge, Souleymane Bamba, Jude Semugabi and Swalik Bebe Ssegujja.
Midfielder Samali Farouk also returned to the club following a successful loan spell at Kigezi Homeboyz.
