Mbarara City are in talks to sign former Express FC goalkeepers Mansoor Ivan Mutumba and Martin Elungat.
Mbarara City have been in search of a goalkeeper in this current transfer window after the club lost Thomas Ikara who was on loan from KCCA last season.
The Ankole Lions had Muhammad Ssekeba as Ikara’s deputy while South Sudanese international Emmanuel Rubangkane didn’t feature in any game despite his move at the start of the previous season.
Mutumba is a tried and tested goalkeeper who sprung to the scene with Express FC before he went on to feature for The Saints FC, Lweza FC, Masavu FC and most recently Wakiso Giants.

Elungat has previously played for Fire Masters, SC Villa, KCCA and Express FC in Uganda, Muhoroni Youth, Thika United and most recently Zoo Kericho last season.
Both goalkeepers have also previously linked to moves to SC Villa but no compromise was agreed upon.
