Michael Siwu last-gasp winner earned Blacks Power crucial a win over Wakiso Giants in their fight for relegation.

Siwu scored a late header deep in the 92nd minute to earn Hussein Mbalangu coached side maximum points at the Akii-bua Memorial Stadium in Lira on Wednesday.

The Purple Sharks were twice denied by the woodwork with Marvin Nyanzi and Moses Aliro both coming close in the first period.

Blacks Power were dominant in the second period and their dominance paid off in the 92nd minute when Siwu heading home a Jackson Wabuleta free kick.

Victory sees, Blacks Power move out of the red zone and are currently 13th with 15 points they have accumulated in 18 games.

Wakiso Giants are 5th on the Uganda Premier league table with 26 points in 18 games.
