In 2020, Okello left KCCA FC and joined Algerian side AC Paradou.
While appearing on NBS Sport inside Sport on Monday, Kasule stated that Okello would be far if he had joined a European club than heading to Algeria’s Paradou

“The agents worldwide are driven by money but proper agents will treat a player as a project because if you treat a player like a project, you will know it takes time.”
Kasule also believes that the development pipeline needs to be managed well from hight school to the national team
“The development pipeline needs to be managed well because however much you get a talented footballer from high school and directly to the national team without a club, it will never workout in the long run.”
In September this year, Okello left Paradou and joined six time Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC on a three year employment contract.
