Mujib Kasule says that the punishment given to SC Villa is not only a reprimand for the 16 time Uganda Premier league champions but also for other teams who had budgeted to play them at Wankulukuku.
According to Kasule, the FUFA Disciplinary committee also punishes the innocent through such punishments
“The punishment the Fufa DC gave to villa, is not only a reprimand for villa but also the teams who had budgeted to play them in Wankulukuku but now have to more than triple thier budget for the same fixture. Why punish the innocent? Kasule tweeted https://t.co/letkJyo8IQ
Kasule joins Vipers SC director Haruna Kyobe who also revealed that FUFA went overboard while punishing Villa.
FUFA were ordered SC Villa to play five home league games outside Kampala, Buganda and Eastern regions behind closed doors.
FUFA also docked two points and two goals from the record league champions over fan violence during their 2-1 defeat to Wakiso Giants.
SC Villa will now host their next five games at the Akii Bua Memorial Stadium in Lira beginning with the mouthwatering fixture against KCCA FC.
