Murushid Juuko joins Vipers

Former Uganda Cranes defender Murushid Juuko has Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC on a two year deal.

Juuko has been featuring for Express FC for the last two season but opted not to renew his contract with the Red Eagles came to an end.

At Express, he played an instrumental part as they won the Uganda Premier League title after nine years as well as their first ever CECAFA Kagame Cup.

He came close to joining Gaddafi FC but the move fell through and now returns to the club he once featured for as Bunamwaya FC.

The defensive kingpin has previously played for Bunamwaya (now known as Vipers), Entebbe FC, SC Victoria University and Tanzanian giants Simba SC.

He also had a brief stint at Moroccan heavyweights Wydad Casablanca in 2019.

The Venoms have already confirmed the signing of midfielder Marvin Youngman, Left Back Isa Mubiru, Ashraf Mandela, Abdul Lumala, Congolese duo of goalkeeper Alfred Macumu Mudekereze and Olivier Osomba.
