Musana misses last gasp penalty as Onduparaka hold Gaddafi

Hassan Musana blew a massive opportunity to win all three points for Gaddafi when he missed a penalty in the extra time of the to deny Gaddafi FC maximum points against Onduparaka FC.

The final whistle blew with the points shared by both sides.

Onduparaka FC were given an early lead by captain Shaban Muhammad in the 14th minute mounting pressure onto the Soldier Boyz.

Nine minutes later defender Jamaldine Buchochera equalized for Gaddafi FC after heading home off Denis Otim’s well delivered cross.

Action as the two sides faced off

Musana put the hosts in the lead in the 32nd minute after James Jarieko handled the ball in the forbidden area.

Eight minutes to full time Onduparaka FC was also awarded a penalty which was first taken by Shaban and Davis Mutebi blocked it.

The penalty was retaken by Nathan Oloro to put the game to level.

Musana had a chance to win it late for the hosts from the spot only for his effort to be saved by Onduparaka FC goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga.

Muwanga was named man of the match at the end of the day.

Both teams maintain their positions as Gaddafi FC remain tenth with 14 points and they next visit Mbarara City on 28th-December at Kakyeka Stadium.

The Caterpillars are 11th with 12 points their next game will be against KCCA FC on 29th-December at Greenlight Stadium.
