MYDA fined for fans’ misconduct

FUFA Big League side MYDA FC has been fined by the FUFA Competitions Displinary Committee due to miscondut in a game that ended in a one all stalemate with Calvary FC

The Tororo based side have been found guilty for failure to tame their fans when they were playing against Calvary FC on Sunday 2nd-January 2022 and will have to pay a fine on one million shillings in less 15 days.

“The FUFA Competitions Displinary Panel has found MYDA guilty of failure to tame their fans who stormed the pitch in the protest of a goal scored by Calvary FC on 2nd January 2022 as the two teams face off on Matchday 10 in the StarTimes FUFA Big League.”

“MYDA is hereby fined UGX 1M that must be paid with 15 days.” Read an official communication from FUFA.

MYDA completed the first round of the FUFA Big League bottom placed with only six points from ten games.

In the 48th edition of the Stanbic Uganda cup, they have been drawn against Buganda Regional League side Kajjansi a side they will visit at Uganda Clays grounds Kajjansi on a date yet to be confirmed
