Kampala Queens suffered a 2-1 defeat courtesy of Burundian champions Buja Queens in the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers at Njeru.
Kenyan striker Topister Situma scored a goal in each half to inspire Buja Queens to their first win of the campaign.
The Bujumbura Queens were boosted by the addition of a couple of players like Asha Djafari and Viviane Corazone who missed the first game defeat to CBE.
Kampala Queens on the other hand, started the game with four changes from the line up that started in the 3-0 win over Yei Joint Stars.

Situma gave Buja the lead with a thumping header from a well delivered cross by her compatriot Elizabeth Wambui in the 21st minute.
Kampala Queens had attempts to score through Fazila Ikwaput and Hasifa Nassuna but their strikes were not enough to trouble the keeper Monica Karambu.
Situma doubled the lead seven minutes into the second half with another finish after goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro failed to deal with her header from another Wambui teasing cross.

After a series of changes and attempts, Kampala Queens pulled one back through Elizabeth Nakigozi’s strong left foot.
Nakigozi beautifully struck a goal of the tournament contender from a free kick in about 30 yards in the 85th minute.
However efforts to find a leveller emerged futile as the referee blew her final whistle after the five additional minutes were done.
Kampala Queens will seek reprieve in their next game against Ethiopian giants CBE on Friday.
CBE now top the Group A table with six points while Kampala Queens and Buja Queens have three points from the two games they have played so far.
