20-year-old goalkeeper Denis Otim is the latest player to be unveiled by UPL side Express FC.
Otim signed a four-year contract with the Red Eagles and wants to use Express as the springboard to further his career.
“I joined Express FC because it’s a big club in the country. I expect to use it as a platform to move to further destinations.”
Otim told the club media.

“My target would be to keep the goal safe and have the most clean sheets in the league. I’m targeting 14 clean sheets and above which will take us to the top level.” He added when asked about his target as a goalkeeper.
“I would first believe in myself and believe in my fellow players then communication would be key plus good reflexes,” Otim said on how he would help the team defense.
He was unveiled two days after the club announced fellow goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima on a two-year contract from Tooro United.

Both Otim and Kusiima will provide healthy competition to Mathias Muwanga who has been the club’s first-choice goalkeeper for the past seasons.
Otim is not new in the top-flight league having previously featured for Nyamityobora FC in the closing stages of the 2018-19 season.
Express ended their 2019/20 campaign 10th on the UPL table with 31 points accumulated from 25 games played.
