Vipers SC head coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi has reportedly been involved in a row with Chief Executive Officer Simon Njuba over St.Mary’s Boarding School, Kitende (SMASK) striker Abdul Nsereko.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that the club CEO Njuba had opted to loan out the player to Gaddafi FC for him to gain competitive playing time.

Sources reveal that frustrated Mbabazi reportedly told the Njuba to focus on his club duties as CEO than involving himself into the roles concerning a coach.

Mbabazi who took over helms at Kitende this month believes that Nsereko has lots of potential and he believes the player is in his plans. There have also been reports of offers from Somalia.

Tensions are already thought to be running high between the pair and after Vipers’ win over Busoga United it took Mbabazi sometime to resume his duties at club since he had not received a stamped copy of his employment contract from the CEO.

In August last year, FUFA Big League side Police FC terminated Nsereko’s contract for reasons that were not revealed.

Following his exit at Police FC, Nsereko signed a three year contract with Vipers SC.

During the USSSA National Football Schools championship last year, Nsereko scored eleven goals to finish as the tournament’s top scorer, claiming the golden boot as SMASK emerged Champions.
