Ochan delighted with return to KCCA, hopeful of winning silverware

Goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan completed his return to KCCA FC for a third stint.

The custodian has previously featured for KCCA on two different spells between 2008-2009 before he returned for another stint between 2015-2018.

He put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the Morley Byekwaso coached side.

On his arrival, Ochan exhibited his happiness and hope to win more silverware with the club.

“I am happy to be back. I have won things here and I hope i can win a few more. I am excited to get started. The fans should expect beautiful football because we want to get back at the top”.

Said the goalkeeper as quoted by the club’s official website.

His return marks a reunion with his former coach Morley Byekwaso. The pair previously worked together at Victoria University FC (Now defunct).

The former Kabwe Warriors goalkeeper will add a lot of experience and competition to KCCA FC’s goalkeeping department which also has Academy graduate Ali Mwirusi and new comer Derrick Ochan.

He has previously featured for South Bloemfontein Celtic, Zambia’s Kabwe Warriors and Kenya’s AFC Leopards.

KCCA FC has in the recent times released two goalkeepers, former skipper Charles Lukwago and Hassan Matovu.

Ochan is KCCA’s 10th signing of the ongoing transfer window.

The have also unveiled Yasser Mugerwa, Geoffrey Wasswa, Emmanuel Wasswa, Brian Majwega, Usama Arafat, Brian Kayanja, Derrick Ochan, Innocent Wafula and Rodgers Mato.

The club has also promoted Academy players Ibrahim Juma and Elvis Eddy Mwanje.

The Morley Byekwaso coached side has also offloaded Filbert Obenchan, Keziron Kizito, Moses Kalanzi, Samuel Kato, Hassan Matovu Moses Aliro and Juma Balinnya.
