Ochaya targeted by African powerhouses

South African giants Kaizer Chiefs, Supersport United and Egyptian side Zamalek are interested in signing Uganda Cranes left back Joseph Ochaya.

Ochaya is currently a free agent following expiration of his employment contract at DR.Congo giants TP Mazembe.

Swift Sports understands that TP Mazembe are in negotiations to renew Ochaya’s employment contract.

The former KCCA FC players joined the five time African Champions in October, 2018 on a two year deal.

Ochaya won two league titles with the Congolese outfit.

Last season, the Uganda Cranes left back played a total of 16 games for the Ravens, scoring one gaol, providing three assists and getting booked on one occasion.
He also featured in five CAF Champions League games.

Ochaya who has represented the National team at the 2017 and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, has previously played KCCA FC, Navibank Sài Gòn F.C (Vietnam), Asante Kotoko (Ghana), Lusaka Dynamos (Zambia) and lately TP Mazembe.
