Shadir as he is known in the Boxing circles unanimously defeated Herbert Mugarura in the main act fight.

Shadir was unstoppable

Before Friday’s loss, Welterweight Mugarura had 9 Pro fights, winning 4 and had lost 5.

It was also a perfect start for Ssemujju who also won Latigo Hamza Champion on unanimous decision in the Co- main act fight.

Like he always says that he fights like Spartans, Ssemujju walked the talk as he threw hard punches with speed and accuracy towards the experienced Latigo as the crowd cheered on. The fight between the two was to many the fight of the night.

Ssemujju’s little brother Isaac Ssebuufu also on his Pro debut defeated Godfrey Kyawaomu, a fighter from Jinja by a technical knockout.

Nanziri, the first ever female Ugandan Boxer at the Olympic games astonishingly won Tanzanian Husnah Zamba by a technical knockout.

The fight was stopped in the first round as the Tanzanian seemed unable to contest after being badly hit by Nanziri’s punches.

Stanley Mugerwa beat fellow debutant Ibra Mukiibi by a technical knockout.
