Out of contract Amina Nababi attracts interests from several Women Super League clubs

Crested Cranes and Rines Women FC forward Amina Nababi is set to leave the club after running out of contract, Swift Sports understands.

Nababi, arguably Rines WFC’s best player of last season, had her contract expire towards the end of last season.

Sources close to the player reveal the crafty left footed forward is undecided about her stay at Rines amidst interest from several clubs.

Uganda Martyrs, Makerere University and newly promoted sides She Maroons and Wakiso Hill are some of the clubs reportedly interested in the crafty winger’s signature.

Nababi played an integral role as Rines raced to FUFA Women Super League safety in the closing stages of last season.

She scored five goals and assisted five others for the Wakiso based club.

As a player, Nababi is a former league winner with Kawempe Muslim and FUFA Women Cup with Makerere University in 2019.

She has two goals for the senior national team The Crested Cranes and was part of the squad that represented Uganda in the 2019 CECAFA Women’s Championship as well as the 2021 COSAFA Championship.
