Uganda Woodball Federation President Paul Mark Kayongo has stated that their focus this year is on the Malaysia World Cup

Our main focus this year is the World Cup in Malaysia, the event has for the last two years been postponed due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Uganda is one of the prospective countries in this Championship considering our excellent performance in 2019 when we hosted the event. So we are to prepare a strong team that will go to Malaysia and bring back glory.”

Due to the horrendous Covid-19, the World Cup Woodball Tournament in Malaysia has for the previous two years been postponed.

Last year the event was scheduled to be held in Malaysia from July 24-30 but was postponed following a request from the Malaysian Woodball Association due to COVID-19.
