The Pepsi University Football league disciplinary committe has ruled in favour of Makerere University Business School winning a petition over Kyambogo University.
The decision CDP No.10 of 2022 ruled in favour of MUBS after Kyambogo filed an ineligible player shirt Amir Serugo in the Quarterfinal second leg game that was played on 11th October 2022 at the MUBS Arena.
According to the committe, Serugo played as Ahebwomugisha Andrew and saved three penalties.
Kyambogo had levelled the tie 3-3 on aggregate after winning the second leg 2-1 in Nakawa.

They had initially prevailed to the Semifinals 4-1 on penalties with the said player saving three penalties.
The disciplinary committe has decided that MUBS win the second leg 3-0 advancing to the Semifinal stage 5-1 on aggregate.
Kyambogo Sports Tutor has also been fined Shs300,000/- and they may appeal the ruling within 48hrs.

Following the ruling, MUBS will now face off with St.Lawrence University in the semifinal with the first leg scheduled for Thursday, 25th before hosting the return leg on 1st November.
