Nkumba University will be seeking for revenge when they host Makerere University Business School in a Group B encounter of the 2022 Pepsi University Football League in Entebbe on Thursday.

The visitors top the group with maximum points, 12 points while the hosts are in the second position with 9points.

“We have so far lost one game in the tournament and it was against *MUBS* but we have managed to keep ourselves in the race by winning all the other games.”

Nkumba head coach Bbosa Sulaiman said before adding.

“There is also a chance to finish top of the group should we win all the remaining games and hope maybe for their case they slip up somewhere, a win is all we are looking for tomorrow,” he added.

On the other hand, MUBS coach Charles Ayiekoh insists that topping their group is their ultimate goal as they look forward to winning this year’s tournament.

“We set a target of winning this trophy and we have shown our intentions by winning all our games so far and I am optimistic that will continue,” *Ayiekoh* noted.

The corresponding fixture ended 1-0 in favor of MUBS when they hosted Nkumba in Nakawa in April.

In the same group, Muni University beat University of Kisubi 3-2 at Kisubi to register their first points this season thanks to a Alfred Egabile hat trick. Frank Tumusiime and Davis Kanyola scored the two goals for hosts UNIK. Both sides are on three points and will not progress past the group phase.
