PEPSI UFL : Ssengendo, Nazar late goals give MUBS slim quarterfinal advantage over Kyambogo

Sharif Ssengendo and Benjamin Nazar scored two late goals as two time Pepsi University Football league champions MUBS came from behind to edge Kyambogo 2-1.

Kyambogo hosted the Quarterfinal first leg contest at Kyambogo grounds in Banda on Tuesday, 27th September.

The hosts took the lead at the stroke of halftime through Joram Lakba.

MUBS who are yet to lose a game this campaign levelled matters in the 86th minute through Ssengendo.

Nazar completed a come back for Charles Ayiekoh coached side in the 90th minute to send the traveling faithfuls into a frenzy.

The victory is also MUBS first win at Kyambogo having drawn the previous two games in Banda. They also keep their 100% record this campaign.

MUBS will host the return leg on Tuesday, 11th October at Nakawa.
