Police hold Mbarara city at Kakyeeka

Mbarara City FC and Police FC played to a one all stalemate at Kakyeka Stadium on match day seven of the FUFA Big League.

Hamis Deigo Semugera put the Cops in the lead in the 18th minute from a loose ball after Mbarara City FC goalkeeper Wycliff Mori failed to deal with Osuman Mutumba’s shot.

Henry Kitegenyi’s levelled matters from the spot in the 49 minute following a handle ball in box, he moved his tally to seven goals two behind Kitara FC’s Patrick Kaddu the league’s top scorer.

A point helps the Ankole Lions move to the second position with 13 points three behind leaders Kitara FC.

They next visit Ndejje University at Bombo Barracks Grounds next Thursday.

Police FC are fifth with 12 points, they will host leaders Kitara FC next at Kavumba Recreation grounds.
