Police host winless Ndejje in quest for 3rd consecutive victory

Police FC will aim to assume early leadership of the Big league as they host winless Ndejje University on match day three.

The two sides will play on Thursday 5th October at the Kavumba Recreation grounds.

The Cops have so far defeated debutants Young Elephants and Jinja North United FC 2-1 and 1-0 respectively.

Ndejje University are yet to register any victory after they lost 4-3 to Kaaro Karungi in Ndejje and 3-0 to Lugazi FC in Lugazi.

Simon Peter Mugerwa Police’s head coach calls upon his players to be conscious when facing a wounded side,

“We are fully focused to fight for three points and we are very aware of their poor run. All we need is to play with consciousness since we expect them to come fully determined to surprise us.”

“The players are fully focused to fight for three points as we match to our seasonal target which is bouncing back to the Uganda Premier League.”

Mugerwa added.

Police FC are second placed with six points same as current leaders Calvary FC.

Ndejje University is bottom placed with no point.
