Police FC humbled Tooro United 4-2 at Omondi Stadium in Lugogo to register their first victory of the second round.
Goals from Juma Balinya, Tonny Mawejje, Marvin Oshaba and Herman Wasswa inspired Police FC to victory.
Ronald Magwali and Hussein Mwanje scored Tooro United’s goals as they suffered their first league defeat under the stewardship of Ibrahim Kirya. This was also Tooro United’s first lose in the second round.
Balinya gave the Cops the lead in the 6th minute to net his 9th goal of the current campaign.

Magwali who replaced injured Kenneth Madira levelled matters for Tooro United in the 26th minute.
Mawejje restored Police FC’s lead in the 38th minute heading home a Ruben Kimera corner kick.
At the stroke of halftime, Oshaba netted against his former employers for his first goal for the Cops jersey.

In the second half, Tooro were awarded a penalty after Yusuf Ssozi fouled Faisal Kazibwa into the forbidden area. Mwanje stepped up to make it 3-2.
Second half substitute Wasswa ensured that the Cops bag three points when he struck the fourth for his side.
Police stay in 10th position and move five points clear of the relegation zone with 21 points, they next play Busoga United.
Tooro are bottom placed with 9 points in 19 games, they host leaders Vipers in their next game
