Fahad Kizito scored the all important goal as Police FC beat Bushenyi Veterans 1-0 in a round of 64 contest at the Bushenyi main Stadium on Thursday.
Kizito gave the visitors an early lead when he finished off a quality Juma Balinya assist in the 9th minute.
His goal was enough to send the Abdallah Mubiru coached side into the round of 32.

Last season, the Cops were eliminated at the semifinal stage by eventual winners Vipers SC.
Police join Wakiso Giants, Rusekere Growers, Tepa, Gaddafi, Booma FC and Kajjansi United who already progressed to the round of 32. All the teams that will make it to the round of 32 will each bag Shs2M courtesy of sponsors Stanbic Bank.
Meanwhile, the round of 64 will resume tomorrow with Kireka Young taking on Kitara FC while Kisugu Young face off with Busoga United both games will be live on UBC TV at Lugogo, Kampala.

In Dokolo, SC Tawai host Ndejje University at Angwechibange Playground whereas Basere FC host Luwero Utd at Kaler Playground in Ngora.
