Daniel Isiagi who has been away for trials with French side Nantes returned and put up a man of the match performance, scoring twice on the evening.

The efforts by the visitors to level matters were all futile as the Proline team looked better organised with Ivan Bukenya blocking all possible threats and the defensive combination of Simon Mbaziira , Savio Kabugo and Mustafa Mujuzi standing as one block in defence.

Into the second half , KCCA looked more hungry for goal. They made a double substitution in the effort to put things right. Isaac Kirabira came on for Muzamir Mutyaba while Isaac Muleme was brought on to replace Saddam Juma.

Allan Kateregga was all over the pitch. Controlling and holding the ball but all that was fruitless as Said Keni was up to let no opportunity past his hands but stop every attack which came his way.

61 minutes into the game, Daniel Isiagi sealed victory for the hosts when he scored another goal to his name in the evening.

Paul Mucureezi pulled one to console the guests in the additional minutes of the game. Mustafa Mujuzi brought him down in the goal area to win a penalty for KCCA.

The Lugogo derby saw the defending champions KCCA lose its second game of the season after losing one against record champions Sc Villa in Masaka.
