Sanyuka TV in partnership with Proline FC and True North Consult have launched the “Ojjukira Legendi Wo” campaign.
The campaign will see football legends in the country play a charity game with the Parliamentary football team on Saturday, 9th October.
The proceeds from the game will go to various Legends of the beautiful game in Uganda that have horrendously been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

At a press briefing held on Tuesday morning at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Proline FC director Mujib Kasule stated that this initiative will be beneficial to football legends in the country.”
“Legends are our assets as a country and we should always cherish them during and after their active playing days.
Once the players finish playing they feel abandoned but if society continues to embrace them, they feel loved again. We want players to matter even when they have left the beautiful game.”

Sanyuka TV General Manager and also the Chief Strategy officer and Deputy CEO Next Media Joe Kigozi says that this is a journey that will recognise football legends in the country

The game will be live on Sanyuka TV on Independence day. Former players such as Wasswa Bbosa, Sam Kawalya, Ambrose Kirya, Philip Obwiny, Obadiah Ssemakula, Jackson Mayanja, Hassan Mubiru and Sam Ssimbwa are expected to feature.
