Qualified teams to the CAF Champions league Group Stages confirmed

The group stages line up for the CAF champions league has been completed following the return legs of the final Preliminary round over the weekend.

Ivory Coast side ASEC Mimosas ended their five year wait without making it to the group stages of the prestigious African competition.

The Ivorian side eliminated Libya’s Al Ahly Benghazi 2-1 on aggregate.

Tanzania sides Simba SC and Yanga Africans prevailed to the group stage after triumphs over Power Dynamos and Al Merriekh.

Simba cruised to the group stage on away goals rule following a 3-3 aggregate while Young Africans won 3-0 over the two legs.

Meanwhile, Nouadhibou became the first Mauritanian side to advance to the group stage of the competition after overcoming Real Bamako 4-1 over two legs.
