Resty Nanziri completes move to Chinese club

Crested Cranes forward Resty Nanziri is finally off the market after joining Chinese second tier club Shanghai Qiusheng Donghua.

Nanziri was openly declared available for sale by Kampala Queens in May this year and has not been part of the team’s squad since then.

Nanziri played a crucial role as Kampala Queens won their first ever FUFA Women Super League title last season.

The Crested Cranes forward scored 11 goals and assisted others on other occasions.

Nanziri joined Kampala Queens in 2018 after impressive exploits with Uganda Martyrs.

She has been a transfer target for FUFA Women Super League new entrants She Maroons who openly expressed interest in signing her.

Her new side Shanghai Qiusheng Donghua competes in the Chinese second tier league known as the Chinese Women’s Football League.
