On Thursday, Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic alias Micho named the provisional squad to prepare for the forthcoming Group F AFCON qualifying game against Algeria.
The game is scheduled for 18th June in Douala City, Cameroon.
Asante Kotoko forward Steven Mukwala missed out on the named provisional squad of 42 players due to an ankle injury.
Mukwala has this season scored 11 league goals for Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier league.
Uganda is third in Group F with 4 points garnered in four games.
After the game against Algeria, Uganda will end their qualification campaign against Niger in September this year.
