Vipers SC tactician Roberto Oliviera alias Robertinho has reacted to his side’s CAF Champions league group stage opponents.
In the draw held on Monday afternoon, the Venoms were drawn against three time winners Raja Casablanca of Morocco and Tanzania’s Simba SC as well as Horoya AC of Guinea.
Robertinho says he gives respect to his opponents in the group since they are big teams but he is ready
“We have been drawn against good opponents, big teams but Vipers is also a big team. We eliminated TP Mazembe, it’s not easy but I have to respect my opponents in the group and I think they should also respect us. I am happy with my team and the players. Our focus is now on the first round of the Uganda Premier league and after that I will prepare a very good program for the CAF Champions league.” Said Robertinho.

In the Group, Vipers who eliminated TP Mazembe in the final qualification phase are the only debutants in the group stage.
The group stage games will kickoff on 10th February, 2023 with Match day one.
