Rugby Cranes 15s head coach Fred Mudoola has revealed the final squad that will travel to France for the 2023 Rugby World Cup Qualifiers.
Jude Juuko, Arthur Mpande, Emmanuel Ecodu and Saul Kivumbi of KOBs miss out on the final squad. Heathens trio of Alex Mubiru, Aziz Khan and Reynolds Kato have also been dropped.
Jinja Hippos players Isaac Rujumba, Taufiq Bagalana, Denis Etwau and Pirates’ Ivan Kabagambe are also not part of the traveling squad.
A 28 man squad will be traveling to France for the tournament scheduled for July 1st – 10th.

Uganda will be facing Kenya Simbas in the quarterfinals of the Qualifiers.
The other quarterfinal matches will see Namibia take on Burkina Faso, Zimbabwe meet Ivory Coast while Senegal face Algeria.
Winner of the qualification tournament will earn a direct ticket to the 2023 World Cup that will also be hosted next year in France.

The Runner-up at the qualification tournament will have a chance to the final global Qualifiers of the World Cup.
That team will directly be pitted in group A that has hosts France, New Zealand, Italy and the Americas 1 qualifier.
