Rwothomio on the brace as URA come from a goal down to overcome UPDF




URA FC came from a goal down to beat UPDF FC 3-1 in their first game of the season at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje.

Striker Cromwell Rwothomio scored a brace while substitute Viane Sekajugo added on the other to ensure a winning start for the Tax Collectors.

UPDF took the lead through Simon Mbaziira who scored with a free kick at the stroke of halftime.

Rwothomio leveled matters from a Derrick Ndahiro cross in the 68th minute.

Sekajugo, who replaced Joackiam Ojera, made it 2-1 five minutes later.

Rwothomio put the icing on the cake with a header from Ashraf Mandela’s cross six minutes to normal time.

URA will now shift focus to their next game against Arua Hill on Tuesday 2nd November.

UPDF will host Gaddafi FC on the same day.
