Despite their impressive form, Bright Stars have failed to beat SC Villa for the 6th time trying.
The two sides played to a goalless stalemate at Bombo Military Grounds in a game played for 80 minutes.
Due to a huge down pour that delayed kick off , captains agreed that each half be played for 40 minutes.
SC Villa came into this game seeking to end a winless streak of 5 games and Bright Stars were targeting their first victory over SC Villa in 6 meetings.

The Jogoos dominated affairs through out the entire 40 minutes but they couldn’t find a break through .
Bright Stars’ Samuel Kayongo was a shadow of his usual self after being neutralised by the Villa defense.
Isaac Ogwang and Francis Olaki also tried to put the Jogoos in the lead but their efforts couldn’t beat Simon Tamale in Bright Stars goal.

Olaki had earlier got closest to finding a winner for SC Villa when his shot got parried off by Tamale and it hit the cross bar .
Geoffrey Wasswa made a perfect intervention in the 49th minute with a perfect goal line clearance that denied Bright stars .
