Sports Club Villa have completed the signing of former URA FC midfielder Ivan Sserubiri.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Sserubiri has put pen to paper on a one year employment contract with the 16 time Uganda Premier league champions.
KCCA FC were also interested in signing the defensive midfielder this transfer window but both parties failed to reach a compromise.
Sserubiri joins Sports Club Villa as a free agent after expiration of his contract at the revenue collectors last season.

The combative Midfielder won the 2016 Masaza Cup trophy with Buddu and was also named as the Most Valuable Player of the competition that same year.
He also played for five time Masaza Cup winners Gomba as well as Buganda Regional League side Free Stars FC.
Sserubiri joins forward Ivan Bogere and Hassan Musana who some of the new recruits at the club. Jackson Magera coached side will open the 2022/23 season against Gaddafi FC on 2nd October at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
