Holding an away goal’s advantage to carry into the return leg, SC Villa only need to avoid defeat today to progress to the quarter finals for the Uganda cup.
They beat Onduparaka 1-0 in Arua thanks to a late goal by substitute Faizal Kazibwe.
When the two sides met in the league at Bombo, Villa won the tie courtesy of another late goal by Nicholas Kabonge. Kabonge missed the first leg through injury but he is expected to return for this one.
Onduparaka are on their knees after going close to 5 games without winning in the league. They have only once in 8 outings, a 2-1 victory over Kitara.
