Sebute to defend East and Central African title against Tanzanian champion


Nara Promotionz have officially launched two title defense fights of East and Central Africa Boxing which will be held on 8th April, 2022 at Bombo Sports Grounds.

The launch was held at the Office of the UPDF Spokesperson in Mbuya.

Col.Dr.Kato Damian Abooki, Uganda Professional Boxing Commission treasurer Maureen Mulangira and Nara Promotionz Chief Executive Hussein Lubowa Babu attended the official launch of the fights.

Sgt Abdul Sebute will defend his belt against Tanzanian champion Hajji Juma Mwalugo in the Bantam Weight (50Kg) 10 rounds.

“I have prepared well and ready to defend my title, the Tanzanian is going to suffer. I know this game and I am very ready for anyone who comes out to fight me.”

Said Sebute.

Musa Ntege will be defending his belt against Imani Daudi Kawaya also from Tanzania in the Cruiserweight (86Kg) 10 rounds.

Hussein Babu of Nara Promotionz says they chose Bombo because it’s where Sebute kick started his Boxing career.
