At 1-1, Cisse brought on Kouyate and Sarr for Pape Gueye and Boulaye Dia respectively.

Kouyate came on in the 65th minute and used only three minutes to restore Senegal’s lead after capitalizing on a defensive howler by Equatorial Guinea defenders Saul Coco and Carlos Akapo.

Sarr, who was playing his first game of the tournament put the game to bed with a third one after being fed by left back Saliou Ciss in the 79th minute.
