Mbarara City will be seeking for a fine start when they host Soltilo Bright Stars on Friday at the Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara.
This will be the ninth meeting between the two sides in the topflight division.

Bright Stars have an edge in this fixture, having won three of their previous eight meetings while Mbarara has managed two wins and three have ended in stalemates.
Last season, Soltilo Bright Stars managed a double over the Ankole Lions. Tje Baker Mbowa coached side beat Mbarara City 1-0 at Kakyeka and also prevailed in the return fixture with a 3-1 win at Kavumba.
Under the interim stewardship of Hussein Mbalangu the Ankole Lions will be desperate to kick off their campaign with a home win.
The home side will look up to Henry Kitegenyi, Solomon Okwalinga, Hilary Mukundane for maximum points on the opening day.
The Mbowa coached side will be boosted by the return of talisman Nelson Ssenkatuka who will be expected to make his second debut for the visitors. In fact this will be his 60th game in a Bright Stars Jersey and will be seeking to extend his goal tally to 32.
Kisitu Nvule Jamil, Joseph Janjali and James Angu are expected to light up the visitors attack.
