Tanzanian giants Simba Football Club are set to swoop Vipers red hot striker Cesar Manzoki Lobi who will be out of contract at the end of the season.

Simba have already expressed their interest in signing Manzoki following the club’s disappointing scoring rate in the current season.

In a bid to convince him to stay, Vipers had offered $30,000 to the Congolese born striker which he turned down.

Manzoki is approaching the final two months of his Vipers contract after two successful years back at the club.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Manzoki is close to agreeing terms with Simba FC who are willing to pay four times if what Vipers are offering him.

Sudanese giants El Merrikh and Al Hilal are also interested in the forward’s signature.

Manzoki has been a key player at Vipers guiding them to the Uganda Premier league triumph this campaign and currently leads top scorers chart with 16 goals.

Last season, he led the Venoms to the Stanbic Uganda Cup where he emerged as the tournament’s top scorer with 7 goals.

Earlier this year, Manzoki switched his allegiance from his birth country DR Congo to Central African Republic. He had played three times for Congo National team in 2016 at the COSAFA Cup that was held in Windhoek, Namibia.

He has previously played for AS Dauphin Noir, Union Maniema and AS Vita in his native country before joining Vipers in 2020 on a two year employment contract.
